Our History
Fitshop opened its first UK fitness store in 1987 under the name Powerhouse Fitness. In the early years, the company focused on commercial fitness products for sports clubs and gyms, as well as building up a retail base in Glasgow. By 1997, the company had outgrown their premises and opened a second Glasgow store. From there, Fitshop expanded to 9 retail stores across the UK and went from strength to strength, becoming one of the UK's leading fitness retailers for commercial fitness and Europe’s no.1 for Home Fitness.
